Wildcats enjoy a fun half term week of workshops

Children took part in a fun packed week of activities during half term which included a visit from ‘The Gruffalo’, a 2 day dance workshop and a fabulous day of Strictly Come Dancing.

On Tuesday 28th October, a full class of children took part in a workshop based around the children's book ‘The Gruffalo’.  Teachers and assistants helped the children learn song and dance routines, act out the story and come up with their own mini scenes.  During the day the children had a special guest - The Gruffalo, kindly loaned from Sukies Party Emporium in Stamford.  Other days included a two day music video with top choreographer Vince Williams.  Vince has worked with some of the countries top artists and has worked extensively for BBC and ITV.  The finished video is being edited and put onto You-Tube at the end of the week.
The week saw over 100 children come and take part in some great performing arts activities - developing confidence whilst having lots of fun. Caz Dolby, of Wildcats said ‘Our Half Term activities are great fun and having the added excitement of the Gruffalo as a guest was a real source of excitement for the children.’
