Students from Wildcats Theatre School and Academy based at Castle House, St Peter’s Hill, Stamford are currently working towards auditions to be part of a very special troupe that will dance with stars from Strictly Come Dancing in April.

The show  ‘An evening with stars from Strictly Come Dancing’ on April 12th 2014 at The Cresset, Peterborough features dancers Pasha and Katya with other special guests and is part of a UK wide tour.  Show organisers  contacted Wildcats to see if they could provide children to perform two 6 minute dance pieces as part of the show.  Children aged 8 – 19 years will be taking part with an equal number from each age group forming the new ‘DanceCats’ troupe.

A large number of Wildcat students have been applying to take part in the event and the school are holding auditions this Saturday, 18th January.  There are a limited number of audition spaces for non Wildcat students who are experienced in dance – anyone interested needs to contact the Wildcats team as soon as possible to arrange an audition slot.

Caz Dolby, Founder of Wildcats said ‘It was lovely to be contacted about this show and our students were very excited about the prospects of dancing with stars from Strictly Come Dancing.  We look forward to seeing all the children showcase their dance skills at the auditions, and putting together the new ‘DanceCats’ troupe.’

For more information or to book one of the limited audition slots for non Wildcat students please call Emma on 01780 762000 or email admin@wildcats-uk.com.
