Wildcats Theatre School and Academy, based in Castle House, Stamford are celebrating after receiving another prestigious award to add to their growing collection of achievements.

Wildcats Academy is now a Recognised School with the Council for Dance Education and Training and has been awarded the Council’s certificate of good professional practice. Schools awarded CDET’s Recognised School Award demonstrate to students, parents and guardians that they adhere to the standards demanded by the industry; standards designed to protect and safeguard young people whether for leisure or with an eye to a career in the profession.

Wildcats pride themselves in offering high quality performing arts tuition - teaching children aged 2 through to adult.  With weekly classes, holiday workshops and a full time Post 16 Academy they have further developed the school to enable them to achieve this highly sought after recognition.

Caz Dolby of Wildcats said 'I am really pleased that the Wildcats team have been able to achieve this award - this now gives the people of Stamford and Peterborough, particularly parents who's children come to classes the peace of mind that they are attending a fully recognised school with incredibly high standards at the core.  Over the years we have developed what we offer but still maintained our ethos of offering highly professional classes, administration and management alongside activities which excite, engage and motivate children.
