WILDCATS GO WILD AT THE RACES - RAISING FUNDS FOR LOCAL CHARITIES

Wildcats Theatre School and Post 16 Academy, based in Stamford hosted a Race Night and family disco on Saturday 26th January in aid of the West End Wildcats charity. Over 100 people took part in the fundraising event.

West End Wildcats aims to involve children of all ages in musical theatre, giving them the opportunity to perform on some of the countries top stages. The charity provides funding to offer workshops in schools and youth settings - using theatre to develop confidence and self-esteem in children across the local area. The charity also funds Wildcats' work with children with additional needs including specialist workshops during the school holidays aimed at those who cannot access their regular sessions.

On Saturday children and their families were invited to take part in a race night at the Danish Invader, Empingham Road, Stamford. The night was organised by the Wildcats Post 16 Academy with support from Wildcat parent, Marie Pears. Children and families enjoyed a disco and raffle alongside the main event and also dressed up as characters from famous Musicals.

The night raised over £450.00 for the charity.
