CHILDREN can become first aiders during february half term activities

Wildcats Academy, based in Castle House, St Peters Hill have a number of exciting workshops for children of all ages during the upcoming half term break.

Activities include a two day dance video workshop with top choreographer and teacher Vince Williams, Horrible Histories, children’s First Aid, Shrek Musical Workshop and a Chinese New Year party.

The two day dance video works towards a You-Tube film made during the two days and sees children off in various locations close to the Academy. The previous session held in October was so popular the school are giving children another chance to take part.

The First Aid course is being run on the Wednesday and is suitable for all ages. The course is delivered by local first aid training company 'MJD Training' - giving children aged 6-16 the chance to learn life saving skills in First Aid including dealing with choking, asthma, burns, broken bones, calling an ambulance, recovery position and resuscitation.  All children will receive a certificate of attendance.
